San Diego Comic-Con International has officially unveiled its programming lineup for July 2026, and comic collectors have plenty to be excited about. The annual pop culture mecca returns with its biggest comics-focused schedule in years, featuring exclusive reveals from Marvel, DC, Image, and dozens of independent publishers.

Exclusive Variant Covers Galore

The big publishers are pulling out all the stops for SDCC 2026. Marvel has announced five convention-exclusive variants, including a limited foil edition of Amazing Spider-Man #65 limited to just 500 copies. DC Comics counters with a Jim Lee-illustrated Batman #155 variant that will only be available at the DC booth.

Independent publishers are getting in on the action too. Image Comics will offer an exclusive Saga hardcover with a convention-only dust jacket, while Boom! Studios brings a special foil Something Is Killing the Children #25 that's already generating pre-con buzz.
